Privacy Policy
1. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes what information Lorenzo Food Safety collects through lorenzofoodsafety.com, how we use it, and what we never do with it. We try to keep this short.
2. What we collect
We collect very little directly from the site:
- Inquiry form contents — name, email, phone, company, and the message you send when you use the contact form. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.
- Email correspondence — once we reply to your inquiry, the exchange continues by email and is governed by the email provider's own privacy practices.
- Server logs — basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, social-media tracking pixels, or session-recording tools. There is nothing on this site that follows you around the internet.
3. What we store in your browser
The site uses three small pieces of browser-side storage — all first-party, all functional, all optional:

Clearing browser storage — or using a private-browsing window — clears all three immediately.
4. How long we keep it
Inquiry-form submissions are kept in our email and CRM systems for as long as we have an active business relationship with you, plus a reasonable period thereafter for tax, accounting, and legal-record purposes (typically seven years).
Server logs are rotated after 30 days.
Cart and form-draft entries are kept only in your browser — we have no access to them.
5. Who we share it with
Nobody, except:
- Service providers that help us operate — our hosting provider, email provider, and (for invoicing) accounting software. Each is bound by its own data-protection commitments.
- Regulators and courts, if compelled by valid legal process.
- A successor entity, in the unlikely event of a merger or sale of the practice — with notice to you.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Confirm what we hold about you.
- Correct or update it.
- Delete it, subject to the legal-record exception above.
- Export it in a portable format.
Write to privacy@lorenzofoodsafety.com — we reply within ten business days.
7. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, write to privacy@lorenzofoodsafety.com and we will delete it.
8. International visitors
If you are visiting from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using the site, you consent to that transfer.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll post a notice on the home page and update the "Effective" date at the top. Minor editorial corrections don't warrant a notice.
